Delegation of Hair

In the older times of more feudal society, it was common practice for rulers in the Mirran empire to grow their hair in times of peace. And during times of aggression they would cut it off and sent it to those they wish to declare war on. It was common to wear common hold jewellery in your hair so it was noticeable from where it originated.    Receiving a long length of hair was a sign of mockery to the receiver symbolizing that the sender was generally peaceful and they had to take action.    It is known that a nieve ruler refuses to cut their hair and declare war with a warmonger. The warmonger met the nieve ruler and drew his blade and cut off the ruler's hair himself. This started the trend of noble duals to remove the hair of an opponent when fighting over ownership over something.   Under the uniform of the Shesire Sovereignty there is a lot less deligations of war. This led to the removal of hair been a rebellious symbol for when rebellions form. The hair is cut off and placed in front of a rulers door, in some locations where this isn't possible the hair is left across the streets. This ended up with punishing people with short hair until this was a form of identification and punishment was outlawed during the signing of Seraphic Rapture.

History

It began early on with a great elder with very long hair who feared a revolt from a troublesome ruler in the neighbouring province. He cut off all his hair when standing on his horse on the battlefield, he dropped the hair onto the ground in front of him which made a dramatic statement. In truth he did this so he wouldn't have his movement restricted.

Execution

Cut off all their hair and send it with a messenger to a rival ruler to be placed before them.
