Olm

A continent located at the south-eastern edge of The Screaming Strait, Olm is a land of dark jungles and barren hills. Little is known about this continent, even by its inhabitants. Ancient overgrown ruins lie hidden and unexplored in the depths of the jungle, while monsters seemingly spawn out of nowhere in an eternal struggle between day and night.   Olm is the ancestral home of the elves, as well as most kinds of beastfolk such as tabaxi and lizardmen. Olm stands out as the only major geographical area where humans are scarce compared to other races. The majority of humans there live in trading posts established by the The Coiled Coalition, or are part of barbarian tribes in the northern peninsula and the surrounding islands.

Geography

The continent is almost fully covered in thick jungle, with only the northern peninsula consisting of rocky hills and the eastern mountain range cutting the continent in two. The continent is mostly unexplored, so little is known and even less is known for sure.

Fauna & Flora

Besides a wide variety of plants and animals, Olm is unique in that it is the only place where dinosaurs still roam. However, this phenomenon is not natural, as the creatures are in fact spawned from the first light of dawn each day. Likewise, by night horrible creatures haunt the dark places in the jungle, beasts that crave blood and flesh more than their own survival. During twilight the inhabitants of Olm know to keep cover, as the dawnbrood and nightspawn violently attack each other on sight.
