The First Ones
Jhonus walked the world so far,
To find a perfect birthing place,
To rear them in the light of Honor’s star,
To live with joy of divine grace.
He named them Oudanti,
And forged them strong of frame
They lived just and noble free
And knew neither fear nor shame.
Peacefully they tilled the earth,
And raised their crops and flocks
Lived lives of happiness and mirth,
With faith unchanging as the rocks.
Truth and peace their only treasure hoard,
Soon stolen by the Changing Lord.
