In the late hours of February 9th Dr. Vonnegut makes a breakthrough experimenting with remains from the Epidemic of 1950.

Dr. Vonnegut discovered the core components necessary for sparking a catalyst reaction, Dumaan and gamma radiation. His work would later help justify the Nuclear Seeding program. He would begin isolated and cataloging hundreds of samples of catalyzed tissues before abruptly dying. Soon after the OSI Experiments would be shut down and their records filed away.   An autopsy of Dr. Vonnegut would show that he died of Leukemia.
