The Oort Network

A sort of department supply chain, Oort Network locations can be found in nearly every Westech settlement. Virtually every Oort Network location is operated and maintained by a set of autonomous androids housed on sight. These androids are capable of performing all necessary functions to keep their stores operable, and are often supplemented by automated defense systems to prevent theft or property damage.

Kiosks

Cheap and compact, these shops peddle goods that are produced on-sight using rapid 3-D printing technology. A customer may peruse the online catalog and place orders with a vendor android or on a screen. When a transaction is completed and credits have been exchanged, the automated systems begin manufacturing their order, which can take anywhere from seconds to hours, depending on the size of the order. Emporiums

Massive indoor spaces containing innumerable shops and displays, often taking up entire floors of the mega-towers they exist within. Commodities sold here range from interior decor, clothing, food, and entertainment. Emporiums are only found in the middle and upper districts. Customers seeking to shop in the upper district must have a membership card to enter.
