The Directorate

The Eastern Alliance is headed by a scientific directorate. The individuals who make up this council are the most intelligent of Eastern society, they are prepared from a young age to take up their position as a member of the Directorate, and are even separated form their less adept peers.
Their jobs are to analyze the data sent up to them, and devise a plan of action. To achieve this second task, they have designed and built a powerful supercomputer that helps them direct the course of their society.

Structure

The directorate is made up of hundreds of individuals, all living in the central district of the Eastern capital.
The head of the department, the Director, is appointed by a vote within the Directorate. There is a term limit of 10 years, but bad actors can be removed through a vote by the directorate in an emergency situation.

Public Agenda

The Directorate exists to guide the course of Eastern society, through the use of the scientific method and the implementation of technology.
