Schiaparelli's Crater Dome

This massive dome caps Schiaparelli Crater.
The dome is supported by a large metal skeleton that holds the glass panels in place.

Purpose / Function

This structure is necessary for the survival of the Eastern capital inhabitants. Its main function is maintaining the capital regions atmosphere and controlling air-traffic.

Architecture

The dome is constructed out of hexagonal glass panels, meters thick, supported by a hexagonal frame.
Within the dome there is a central spire that acts as a support pillar for the highest point of the dome.
