The Painted Avocet
You make your way through the city of Nekhsou until you come to a bar, which is called The Painted Avocet, a big wood bar with a red tiled roof that the locals know best for its attractive waitstaff.
The Painted Avocet is a tall building, but not particularly spacious; the bar occupies the ground floor which is fire-lit, and you see a barmaid carrying a dish down from the stairs; the sign outside said that it had accommodation, so the beds must be on the third floor of the wood building. The flag of a different town hangs on one wall of the tavern. You can barely hear each other over the din of the other patrons, who are pretty rowdy. One elbows you in the ribs as they try to get around you to the bar.
