Plot thread: Nekhsou - Nabara, the corrupted bronze dragon
Nabara, a corrupted male bronze dragon, wanted nothing more than to rule over Nekhsou and hoard all the treasures being unearthed by the various organisations that collect them. He had a cunning mind and a sharp tongue, which he used to manipulate and deceive those around him. His scales gleamed in the sunlight, but his heart was as dark as the shadows he lurked in.
A high-ranking member of the Wraiths of the Shadow, he has been slowly climbing the ranks with the intention to wrest the leadership for himself. His ultimate goal was to become the most powerful thief in the land, and he would stop at nothing to achieve it. He had already made many enemies, but he didn't care. He knew that fear was a powerful tool, and he wielded it with precision. His plans were carefully laid out, and he was always one step ahead of his rivals.
He had been working towards it for years, and he was finally within reach. He had bribed, blackmailed, and manipulated his way to the top, and he was not about to let anyone stand in his way. He was willing to do whatever it takes to achieve his ultimate goal, even if it meant sacrificing his own morals and values.
To complete his takeover, he is seeking the fabled artifact that is said to grant immense power and control over all who possess it. He had heard whispers of its existence for years, and he was determined to find it and use it to solidify his position as the most powerful person in Nekhsou. He knew the risks of seeking such a powerful object, but he was willing to take them. After all, he had come too far to let anything stand in his way now.
He has sent his minions out into the desert, having gathered as much information, superstition, legend, and hearsay as he could find on the artifact. All he needs now is the location of the artifact. He knew that it was hidden deep within the vast expanse of sand dunes, but he couldn't be sure exactly where. He has narrowed it down to one of three locations so, now, all that remains is a process of elimination.
