Dawn Quarter

"When I first came to the Dawn Quarter, I looked in the general direction of that ball of light in the sky. The sun Envy. 'So this is what hell feels like.' After spending an extended amount of time in the Sun Quarter, I am honestly amazed life can exist there. Now this is like paradise to me. Soon, very soon Ill be able to return home. Back to the cold that I know and love." -3rd Journal of Atlas

Geography

The Dawn Quarter is hot, but nowhere near the heat of the Sun Quarter. Water flows from the great Serva River through the Naram Jungle, and fertilizes the Astar Fields before entering the freshwater Orphos Sea. It is the main source of water for the entire Quarter.   The main features of this Quarter are the Greshan Plateaus which tower above the Greshan Forests below. Giant stone pillars that mark an ancient Servian Delta. Then there is Vordus, the capital of the Dawn Quarter, the center of magical careers and trade. The city itself is built on an ancient Mana Well, as well as on a dimensional Leyline. Truly the residual magical energy make this place a haven for mages, and a Nexus for energies of all sorts. Tucked away in the Naram Jungle, in a place a good ways off the beaten path, is Khanma and the local burial ground the Veylem Necropolis. A surprisingly large city given its location. Even more out of the way, is a strange city. Avaak' Tor. Where a bizarre people call home   Then in the sky, is the Kingdom of Amara. With the cities in order of size, Regalis Sola, Cantus Sola, and Cantus Verena. Regalis Sola is the capital of the Sky Cities, and has the most Dracolyte in its population. Virtually all of them actually. Cantus Sola is a city renowned for its artists and skilled builders. Finally, Cantus Verena is the smallest of the Avian cities, and was renowned for its talented Songbirds.
