The Barrier

A gigantic mountainrange, blocking off the entire east, with dwarven settlements and walls built into the entire span, from north to south. A few of the settlements are abandoned these days, but most of them are lightly garrisoned. Two gates, one to the south and one to the north, have the most heavily guarded settlements.
