Darkethin

The Chaotic Evil plane of Darkethin, is the returning point of all who serve the Undying One. Often parents scare their children that doing terrible acts will cause a rider of Darkethin to appear on their doorstep and abduct them; A legend that has certain merit from ancient days.
The original history of Darkethin has long since been lost. What people remember is that it is located in the heart of the Shadow Rift, the deepest, darkest part of the Elsewhere lies a lone, floating piece of land, constantly ravaged by Darkstorms. It's home to a myriad of creatures that live and feast on death and decay; Corpses are just as normal as grass, and monsters as normal as trees. Ruling the most of the lands are the devils; Chaotic, sadistic creatures that separated and sent away a piece of their original land to drive away the demon invaders, who took that piece of land and made it into Garathin.
The devils keep rule over almost the entire plane, constantly tormenting the souls of those who are sent there. They employ contracts similar to the demons in order to get to Malkor, but contrary to the demons, they rarely if ever honor their contracts; Those who summon devils are either severely desparate, severely stupid, or have enough power to control them.
Mortals on Malkor attribute Darkethin's plane to the Undying One; A dark, lich-like entity that preys on the desperate. Some devote their lives to its dark power, other ask for only a fraction. But the due pay is always said to be several times higher than the request.
