Kala
Kala is a Human paladin of Tyr and an Inqusitor of the Church of Tyr. She was sent to Greenwood Village along with Vondel to investigate rumors of the undead. Along the way, they met and apprehended Zati, and joined forces with Sindri, who now accompany them.
Kala was eager to defeat the undead in the village and succeeded in securing the relic causing the issue, The Staff of Flesh and Bone. She felt compelled to bring Myrin to justice after his attack on the party, and continues to be frustrated that he has not been charged for his crimes.
While in Greycott she worked with Sindri to repair a broken piece of full plate found in the basement of The Gracious Bee. Beautifully adorned with symbols of her faith, Kala grew attached to this piece immediately. During their stay at The Double-Tree Inn Kala and Zati bathed together and grew closer as friends.
While in The Sewers of Greycott Kala showed her callous side and killed Zeus, fearing that he had contracted a disease that would turn him into a Rat-Like Humanoid.
When the party came to Thuria Kala offered up her home as their base of operations, introducing them to her grandfather Stron Stoutbough. During this time Kala became more willing to go along with the party's lies, but was visibly uncomfortable. This culminated in the attempted murder of Magister Whitelaw and her exile from the ranks of the church.
Kala is often the 'square' of the party, insisting on following rules and regulations. She hates to lie and prefers to state her intentions clearly. Her life previously revolved around her status as a local hero and Knight of Tyr. Since the events in Thuria and her subsequent excommunication Kala has become more quiet and less eager to engage with others.
Kala is currently the proud owner of two goldfish she rescued while in Himsburg.

Character History
Kala was raised by her grandfather, Stron Stoutbough, a retired Inquisitor of the Church of Tyr. She was raised in the military tradition and joined the Crusaders when she was of age.
Kala rose quickly through the ranks of the Crusaders. With the advantage of both the conditioning her grandfather had put her through and her own innate ability, Kala proved to be a fierce fighter and a capable leader.
During her time in the Crusaders, Kala met and befriended a young halfling warrior named Sylna Rockswater. The two of them became fast friends and were soon inseparable. Compared to Kala’s more rigid upbringing, Sylna was much more easy going and would frequently drag Kala into trouble.
Despite this, Kala became the youngest soldier to be promoted to the rank of Inquisitor in the past several generations. She was promoted after she distinguished herself in the Battle of the Millshire Peninsula. Finding herself alone on the field of battle, Kala single-handedly held the land bridge against the invading Orcish forces long enough to allow the rest of the Church’s forces time to regroup and drive the invaders back across the seas.
