The wealthy Tresendar family started the construction of Tresendar manor on top of a hill south of the Triboar trail, during the construction many people who walked the trail decided to join the rich family and in the next 10 years the small village of Phandalin was formed.
Wave Echo Cave was found 10km east of Phandalin.
After the construction of the Forge of Spells, Phandalin became the main trading village of the sword coast. Where the magical items that were forged in the forge of spells were sold. Instead of being a remote little village, the town blossomed and became a small metropolis with travelers from all over Maar passing by to get a glimpse of the magical items being sold there.
Orc tribes from the north started moving south and destroyed the town of Phandalin, nothing was left except for Tresendar manor, that was barely standing.
A few families decided to leave the city life of Neverwinter and started building a new home on the ruins of Phandalin, over the next 5 years, the families will form a solid village which will be named Phandalin once more. Tresendar manor was still the biggest building in the village, standing strong on top of the eastern hill.
Iarno Albrek arrives in Phandalin, using his wits and silver tongue he managed to form a rebellious force he calls The Redbrands, that will terrorize the villagers, he controls them from inside Tresendar manor, over the next 2 months they dig tunnels under the manor and create a hideout, they form a good connection with the Cragmaw tribe and sign an agreement with the Black Spider, to keep the villagers scared, Iarno is carrying a glass staff, and because of that his followers know him only by his nickname “Glasstaff”.
A party of 3 adventurers named Abrams Panzer, Eldes Young, and Thorin son of Thror arrive at Phandalin and decide to take care of the Redbrands in order to help the townsfolk. In the next couple of days the adventurers search for information about the Redbrands and discover their hideout's secret entrance. The adventurers kill all the Redbrands except for “Glasstaff” who managed to run away.
An army of roughly 100 goblins from the Cragmaw tribe, led by Iarno “Glasstaff” Albrek came to destroy the village. The 3 adventurers that saved the village from the Redbrands were in the village and decided to lead the village in combat, they gathered every able body from across the village and sent the weaker folks into hiding in the inn. The fight was long, bloody, and across multiple fronts, the village was victorious, but suffered heavy losses.
