UCS Virage
Virage is a one-off deep-space exploration ship built for the Hyperion Space Exploration Institution. Upon the HSEI's acquistion by the United Commonwealth Astronavy, Virage was docked at Cerberus Station to be refit as a warstar. Virage is one of the few ships built with dual-FTL rings, making it capable of having 2 capacitor banks charged at once, for two consecutive jumps. Virage is also able to charge one bank while traveling at FTL.
Virage made its name by making first contact with the kortarls and lavan. Virage became involed in the social unrest in Guruthos and was a deciding factor in the rebellion's victory. She is currently assigned to Position 3 of Group 30 of the Mu Flotilla. DEPT. HEADS
