The Institute of Drakonia Medical Research

Introduction

The Institute of Drakonia Medical Research was founded by the then prince of Drakonia, Natas B. Kanosis. Although Drakonia is now a province of Aldaria rather than it's own country the renowned school of medicine and research kept it's name. It is the top medical research facility and top academy of medicine in all of Aldaria. Kyrazosanz, the son of Natas, studied there as a young adult. Many notable names in healing and medicine studied at The Institute of Drakonia Medical Research including the now renowned entomologist Honest Hurtswell who invented DrakuMantari which treats Draku Pustulis/ Dragon Pox.

Purpose / Function

The Institute of Drakonia Medical Research was founded with the purpose of researching the anatomy of dragons and celestials. It expanded to improving the lifespans and health of all species which resided on Lysandus shortly after its founding. It was initially a research facility only but Natas saw that the small facility could have bigger purpose and it became a school when Natas himself took the throne.

Alterations

The Institute of Drakonia Medical Research expanded from a one building research facility adding a second building to the campus in During the Reign of Natas Kanosis. In the Era of Emperors the Institute feared being shuttered due to it's research in dragon illnesses but managed to expand even more until it became the University it is today.

Architecture

The building was first built in the traditional style for Drakonia which were buildings which were similar to Viking long buildings. The later additions were made of brick and timber and the style of those looked similar to the Dragestil Architecture seen on the planet Gaia.

History

Founded by Natas while his father King Tyr was still on the throne. Expanded from research to during Natas' reign. Stands to this day as prominent school of medicine and science.
