Introduction 

The ranks of the Erpitoni military are not much different from Aldaria's but to become a dragon you cannot just be handed it by station of birth as some Generals of the Aldarian Army did. The Dragon warrior earned their right to be dragon through hardship and skill in battle.

Qualifications

Of course basic training and service in the military is required. Then you prove your skill in battle. Many dragon Warriors are of such an age because they had to practice the art of fighting and demonstrate it repeatedly before becoming a dragon. If you have lived through that much war you have deserved your rank.

Requirements

Typically to be a dragon one must have survived many battles, shown proficiency and leadership, and be an Erpitoni or have been accepted into our people as an Erpitoni.

Appointment

Traditionally the Mother (queen) of our people anoints a dragon and that is how she confers their rank to them.

Duties

The Dragon has the duty of upholding the image of the Erpitoni people, to care for their soldiers, and keep Mother informed of military developments.

Responsibilities

A dragon is to give missions to lower ranks and report on military operations to Mother.

Benefits

There are both financial and social benefits to earning the rank of Dragon. Here are a few: 

• Prestige 
• the highest pay grade in the Erpitoni military
• respect 

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

The only way one might lose the title of Dragon is if they betray the Erpitoni to our enemies or commit an immoral heinous act.

For those still on Erimos we assume the rank still exists. Alas, here in Lysandus none are dragon warriors now, our last died during the battle with the traveling prince.
