Antyric Heartland
"We can't feed an empire if we don't have food. Take it by whatever means necessary."
Heimholdt and Arston were perhaps the most important cities the Antyric Empire had to secure if it wanted to stretch from coast to coast. These two cities held the fealty of the most productive farming and trading communities in central Antion. Additionally, the major trading highway, The Gold Road, ran straight through it, connecting the small eastern settlements to Western civilization. Bringing these kingdoms into the empire was non-negotiable. - excerpt from *Destiny Manifest: An Analysis of the Expansion of the Our Great Empire* by Edwin Nellhilmor
Geography
"Behold Thundermount, the tallest peak on the continent. Around its peak a constant storm swirls, and has since before the first men settled in it's shadow.
South of this peak, the surrounding mountains turn to foothills, an area know as the Thunderhills. If a man listens carefully, he can hear the echoes of thunder from storms across the hills.
Go north, and the Craggy Bluffs are found. They're an intimidating place for those without a foolish sense of bravery and the intuition of a mountain mole. Sheer cliffs and a maddening labyrinth of tunnels is all there is to be found there.
East of Thundermount is the Lake of Storms. It's large. Extremely large. Also very atmospherically active.
Further south are the Olta Uplands. Mostly prairies covering the large foothills of the Mammothspike Mountains." - Professor Belthelen, getting a little carried away
