Oni

Oni were once mortals who followed the Great Demon Tamamo during the World's Breach. They were given powers from the life-source of Tamamo known as Yokai Blight. After over-using theses powers, they were transformed in those Ogre-like Demon.
Shuten-Doji, their king, is the first mortal who was "converted" by an overdose of Yokai Bligth powers and is the most powerful among them. After eons recovering from their defeat on the war, he now sends his agents undercover to start introducing the fragments of Tamamo, the Sassho-seki stones, to the mortals again, allowing the Great Demon to gain power in the Prime Material.

Basic Information

Anatomy

They have humanoid morphology, but disproportionate. They can be as tall as 8 to 12 ft tall, with very muscular bodies. They all have curvy horns that start on the forehead, as well as two sets of long fangs that cross each other outside the lips, one on the top, the other at the bottom of the mouth. Their skin is usually red/orange, but some can be blue, green, black event if it's rare.

Genetics and Reproduction

Their is no sexual reproduction, as they were created by divine powers.

Growth Rate & Stages

Oni are a kind of demon that were created at the dawn of time. They were mortals (humans, elves, dwarves and the like). No matter the age of the mortal who were changed, Oni are always fully mature upon transformation, and as part of their demonic self, they don't age.

Ecology and Habitats

They usually live in the Abyss, in the layer given to them by Tamamo.

Dietary Needs and Habits

If possible, Oni eat human flesh, preferably young children or teens.

Biological Cycle

Even if they can change the age of their mortal appearance at will, they do not age, and when they die, they are just "banish" in an other layer of the Abyss for torture and punishment. Until recently, they were unable to come to the Prime Material, but the awakenning of Tamamo has given them this new capacity.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

They can take the appearances of their formal selves, as they were mortal at some point. Oni are really tall in their demon form, but can shrink down to their past height. They can also be invisible in an instant, and have a supernatural charm towards people, as long as they remain in their humanoid form. They can also see in the dark perfectly, as well as being immune to necrotic damage.
