Murker

Only ever coming out during and shortly after heavy rain, these amphibious creatures are difficult to encounter. Due to their abilities in water teleportation, they are sought after sometimes as steeds for water combat. Though because of how rare they are, and how difficult they are to train, they are a rare creature to encounter, and most trainers/breeders don't bother with them.
They seem to live on the edges of the Aetzirian Bogs, but some have been seen before in river and big lakes. It makes sense as they are in constant need to rehydrate themselves or else their skin and the mud/ooze on them dry up and crack, causing them pain. That is why they only tend to come out during heavy rain or shortly after it. While they can eat meat, they mostly feed on vegetation that's in the water. They don't tend to attack people, though they are more active and aggressive during the High Sun month due to the fact that it's mating seson around that time. In the winter months, they hybernate somewhere deep in the lakes, swamps, or oceans.
