Aetzirian Bogs

These lands are mainly under the rule of the Aetza Council. Most of these lands are considered treacherous and people usually avoid them. If one ventures off in these lands, they might not ever make it back. Settlements are scattered across the area, though there are very few in number.

Geography

Mud. Lots and lots of mud cover these lands. There are only a handful of actual swamps, the rest is mud and patches of shrubs, trees and grass. Other than the roads that were built near the outskirts of the area, it can sometimes be difficult to traverse this place. Once one starts smelling rotten eggs, they can be fairly certain that they are close to this area.

Localized Phenomena

Many strange creatures lurk about, often having been transformed or changed somehow because of how the bog is slightly saturated with magical energy. The local monsters and creatures that have lived here for generations have adapted to such an environment, and is often a less than pleasing end result.
