The Floating Islands

The floating islands are differently sized land masses hovering across the skies with the clouds. Foras' Revenge not only created the Continents but also these islands.

Formation

When Panteus was blasted apart differently sized pieces of land were flung into the sky. Some of these, especially those containing large amounts of the telekinesis Element, did not fall back to the surface. Instead they started to hover in midair, and developed into the floating islands now present all over the planet.

Movement

The islands swim across the sky, held at different heights by concentrations of the Telekinesis-Element. These elemental pockets are also responsible for moving the islands around. Each island moves on its own fixed path or in a fixed area, at its own height and speed.

Location

So not only are the islands moving with different speeds, but also on different heights, independent of their size. The lowest islands fly at the average height of the world's mountain peaks while the highest hover around at up to 8 kilometers elevation.

The floating islands are islands that literally fly in the air. These differently sized chunks of land move with different speeds at different heights on different paths over the entire planet.
