The Sword Tsàgoiyàdru of Yànghitshiwektu

The sword that was used by the Ante king Yànghitshiwektu to defeat the Wàk king Lalṇihta at the battle of Gainlanaiṇ and expand his kingdom all the way from the Slawtoi hills to the coast. Legend says it was forged by the Inwoshheiyuy, the old people of Lwoid whose ruins can be found sparingly across the southern forests, and that Yànghitshiwektu was guided to it by Yowànwi during a ṇushnar on the winter solstice where he took it from the mouth of an Enweizàyzai where Tsàgoiyàdru was as sharp and strong as it had been when it was forged and when he struck Lalṇihta down it only took one blow to kill him.
Tsàgoiyàdru was passed down from Yànghitshiwektu to his son Slazwatsàle where the Ante continued their expansion to the north with the blade at the forefront of the conquest. Later kings didn't expand the kingdom further as the Igai and Wetzoi were able to fend off the attacks. As time passed the sword was used as a marker of prestige for the royal family, to show that they were directly connected to Yànghitshiwektu which gave them the right to remain in power.
A legendary sword being bestowed to a hero or the true king is common in fiction from the Ante due to the prevelence of Tsàgoiyàdru in their culture. One such tale tells of a boy cast out from his home going on a quest set by Yowtewi and Yongwàza where he completes four trials, one of which is to enter the cave of a beast called a Ekkoshuthos and defeat it to retrieve the sword that he uses to defeat the Kingogu that has ravaged his homeland.
