Zenith Creation Myth (zenɪθ)

Tell us a myth or legend about how your world came to be from a religion, cult, or group in your world. Fifty thousand years before the first intelligent dragons roamed the world and one hundred thousand years before the first humanoids, the three Creators: Omnatris (əʊmnatrIs): creator of life, Mortuos (mɔtuɒs): creator of death, and Teradeus (terædeɪus): Creator of Lutum, existed in their respective plains. Teradeus convinced Omnatris and Mortuos to help create a new plane using all of their collective strengths, this plane was Lutuum. Teradeus created the land, the sea, and the rest of the lutum. All three Creators created creatures together and independently. Omnatris breathed life into these creature and Mortuos gifted then mortality and the urge to kill. After many millennia, the Creators noticed that the creatures of Lutuum were too disordered and uncivil, they decided that intelligence might help. In this time, Omnatris and Mortuos had created gods. Omnatris created Aburo (æburəʊ): God of Nature, and Animus (ænImus): God of the Mind. Mortuos created Mortost (mɔtɒst): God of the Afterlife, and Morbius (mɔbiʌs): God of Disease. The Creators created powerful creatures with great wings and the ability to expel a variety of dangerous things from their throats. The only problem was that they were of low intelligence, they would kill and eat anything they could. So Omnatris called upon Animus to gift intelligence unto these great beasts. The dragons utilised this gift to create a great kingdom across Lutuum. Many more millennia pass and the gods had created their own lesser gods, some lesser gods even made their own lesser gods. The Creators dedicated their existences to Lutuum. The Creators saw that the dragons were dominating Lutuum so Omnatris decide to create a new creature that was, with Animus' assistance, as intelligent as the dragons. But this creature was far more versatile and adaptable. Omnatris created millions of these creatures, they spread across the Lutuum and adapted to almost every environment, manipulating it to their will.
