Eladrin (Modern)

Direct descendants of the original Elder Eladrin whom came from the Faywild. The modern Eladrin share many of the same traits as their ancestors, but do not share their immortality.
Eladrin associate themselves very closely with the changing seasons, and as such, often have varying temperments depending on location and time of year. An Eladrin may be somber and appear depressed in the autumn, or boisterous and flirty in the spring.
Autumn is the season of peace and goodwill, when summer’s harvest is shared with all.
Winter is the season of contemplation and dolor, when the vibrant energy of the world slumbers.
Spring is the season of cheerfulness and celebration, marked by merriment as winter’s sorrow passes.
Summer is the season of boldness and aggression, a time of unfettered energy.
Some Eladrin may remain associated with a particular season for their entire lives, while others, change with the will and whim of the seasons, taking on new characteristics with each.
