Human

Humans are widespread in in the continent of Eperone. They are intermingled with many different races and are mostly accepting of and collaborating with other races or might simply be indifferent to them. Among some other races and cultures, humans are considered warmongers, as they may tend towards violence to defend and spread their territory and beliefs. Especially high elves may be hostile towards humans, as they share an intricate history.

Anatomy

The human race is very diverse. Humans can be very skinny or strong built, and vary in size between 5 feet and 6 feet and can weigh between 125 and 250 pounds. Humans have a different skin tones depending on their origin and ethnicity and ranges from very pale to dark brown. Hair colour follows a similar pattern; hair can range from blonde to black and can be straight, kinky or curly. Bodily hair is present in sparse amount on the legs and arms. Males may also have some hair on their chest or on their face in the form of a beard or moustache. As they intermingle with other races, humans in mixed racial populations may have heritance of many other races and might display features of those races.

Growth Rate & Stages

Humans are dependent on their parents for most of their childhood. From around 14 or 15 years of age a human can live independently, but most are only considered fully grown from around 18 years of age. In some cultures, this is accompanied with special rituals.

History

The human species is considered one of the oldest, together with the elves. It is not clear which race is actually older, though some believe (mostly humans) that the gods created humans first. As they are so old, humans have varied and rich histories and cultures.
