Lumune

Link to Lumune's calender   This world is old and has known many civilisations. Most of the continents are dangerous and filled with monsters. The people that live there are survivalists, committed to the harsh life. One continent, Eperone, has a large civilisation density and many different races live there. The other continents have small scattered populations and are filled with unpleasant beings.   The world has 2 moons. One is the regular big gray moon (Ladya). And one is an irregularly shaped blue/green moon (Xana), that is way smaller, but closer by so it seems to be around 70% the size if the big moon.   The world is filled with various forms of magic that linger in curious places. As a result, old ruins may be filled with the most extraordinary creatures that thrive there.   After a dark age lasting eons, the return of the elves of Alrion to the world about 1500 years ago has brought riches and prosperity. Why they had left, where they have been and why they returned now is a well kept secret. However, their return caused a flood of magic throughout part of the world (mainly Eperone), which has let civilisation thrive for 1,5 millennia.   Be that as it may, rumour has it this will come to an end soon.
