The Jackals kingdom of unity


The Jackals kingdom of unity is the only human kingdom and they functions as an electory monarchy a king elected among the heirs by the nobles and high-standing commoners. This Kingdom is based upon the principle of unity among his people. It has been founded During the Great dwarves cleansing millenias ago by Ulther Jackels as a mean to unite people against the dwarven "threat" to humanity.
The representation of a Jackal is a strong symbol of the kingdom come from derivation of Ulther Jackels's name.

Structure

The highest rank in the kingdom is the king followed by his mage and then the duke who are royal family without possibility to access the throne, after that the princes and princesses who are direct heir to the kingdom following them are the 12 families who helped found the kingdom, and then the high-standing commoners who speak for the people.

Public Agenda

Their goal as seen by the public is to bring everyone together for humanity's prosperity.

Assets

The kingdom isn't specially rich however humans are a proliferating species and as such their numbers is the highest among other races and they also produce a great mmajority of food which is widely traded with the gnomes for wonderful stonework and miscellaneous construction. They are a widely militarized kingdom as they strive to protect themselves aggresively rather than otherwise. They possess numerous stonghold at key points in their territory and their borders are protected by kilometers deep trenches commissioned to the gnomes to serve as habitations for them and as defense against invasions.

History

This kingdom has been founded about 7 millenias ago by Ulther Jakels as a mean to attack the dwarves it has been since then at war with the dwarves with multiple major conflicts and small skirmishes, some revolutions have seen lights as the kingdom militaristic behavior isn't seen positively by everyone however the fire of revolutions were quickly snuffed out by the nobles family.

Demography and Population

The population is spread across the whole kingdom and while there is no exact number for the population there is no doubt that no race are thriving as much as them. They see 1 death for 1.5 newborn

Territories

The kingdom occupies a large territory that has been obtained by their ancestors following the "Cleansing of the Dwarven threat", Since then the territory they held remain mostly unchanged even if wars bring some small adjustments here and there from time to time.

Military

The military is separated in 12 Corps each manned by one of the 12 noble families. An Elite corps responding to the king and composed of the cream of crops among the 12 noble families and the heroes acclaimed by the commoners are in charge of guarding the royal palace and accomplishing royal missions for the king. A special division manned by the church is in charge of organizing "Holy Crusade" against all who are named heretics by the crown or the church.

Technological Level

Low level taming and mass producing of equipments give the kingdom its militaristic edge.

Religion

Unitism which follow the kingdom's doctrine is observed everywhere in the territory and each major city possess a cult building in which anyone may express their worries and request and where people are encouraged to help one another. Unitism is a religions directed by the state and so they hold absolute power in their actions. Other religions are tolerated as long as they do not obstruct Unitism teachings and are not of Dwarven origins.

Foreign Relations

The Dwarven continent have been at war with the kingdom because of ancients feuds which still holds true as of today. The Elven Council Have keeped to themselves in their forest and refuse all contacts with the exterior. The Gnomes Cities Have been the sole trade partners of the kingdom and apart from humans gnomes are the most commonly seen race in The Jackals kingdom of unity even if poor in numbers.

Agriculture & Industry

The kingdom is a militaristic and agricultural power as such they possess extensive fields and animal husbandry knowledge and facilities, They also possess poor qualities mass manufactured steel tools and equipment for soldiers and peasants alike, Finally they possess huge low level taming and raising facilities for dogs, wolves, horses, and a special facility for lesser water elementals.

Trade & Transport

Trade is conducted via carriage along paved highways between great cities or dirt road between villages. The trades conducted with The Gnomes Cities are made locally in the kingdom and do not necessitate transport. However food and water is often sent to Gnomes settlements but the transport of such goods is taken care of by the Gnomes themselves.

Education

Educations is low among the commoners, they know basic maths but not much more, even if school are at dispositions, however nobles and military personnel are all fully educated so that they may all be able to respond to any situations. The Education is mainly militarily focused even if all subjects are touched from farming to receiving orders to leading a squad and even taming and survival.

Infrastructure

The main infrastructures of the kingdoms are its Castles, Immense farms, Low level Taming facilities, and steel forges designed to mass produce.

Each noble family must nominate 2 representative that will act as judge throughout the kingdom. If 4 judges deems it necessary the case will be sent to the current ruler.
