Edision is the last in a line of very successful businessman and woman. His family owns the Morris Transcontinental Shipping company, the biggest trading company of the Golden Coast. He owns enough money to buy probably half the city, and he doesn't mind showing that off. He regularly holds balls, parties and events at his estate to show of his wealth and keep building connections and relationships.
His great-great-great--great-grandfather Nicholas Morris founded the company over two hundred years ago with just his two ships. Today the company owns nearly four docent vessels.
Edison is not a sailor and only stepped foot on a ship a few times for very important business trips. He rather pays his employees to take care of the ships and trading, while he manages everything in the background from Okodranous.
He, like his father, plays a very important role in the city's politics. Most people assume Edision is a member of the Council of Thirteen, but he neither confirmed nor denied that in any regard so far.
