Colaro

Colaro is a beautiful land full of misty lakes, dense jungles and treacherous mountains. This land is inhabited by many primitive races who respect and value the land including many druidic tribes and people. It is protected by a druidic theocracy of Half-Orcs and Humans who call themselves the Red Vipers. Due to Colaro being filled with poisonous plants, deadly predators and an unforgiving jungle landscape, nations would think twice about mounting an invasion against its current rulers. The naturally growing exotic herbs and poisons are coveted throughout Lothlonde. Ningothroth serves as the nation's capital.
The Red Vipers are a druidic theocracy of Half-Orcs and Humans that rule the lands of Colaro from within their magically protected capital city of Ningothroth. These spiritual leaders’ worship Corellon and Melora and run their nation based upon the teachings of these two Dawn Deities.
Ningothroth is the capital of Colaro and the home of the Red Vipers. It is an ancient ruined city protected an incredibly unique and vast magical dome called Melora’s Mercy. This dome protects the people of Ningothroth from the savage creatures outside it, including wild Orcs that are afflicted with a disease called Greyscale that turns flesh into stone and drives the afflicted mad. At a first glance, the city seems like nothing more than a series of ancient ruins, however within those ruins and below it is numerous spiritual caves, wooden huts, secret oasis and pockets of fertile land that gets just the right amount of sun from the cracks above.
