Kendragund

Summary

Kendragund is one of three grand citadels that stand guard against the The Horned Lands within the Empire of Iuz. The citadel is staffed and guarded by a warband of 4,000 orcs who are fiercely loyal to their Godking Iuz. The Road of Skulls begins here, and stretches 600 miles northwest to the empire's capitol, Dorakaa.

History

The citadel was established hundreds of years ago when Iuz originally came to power, and was meant to keep out the roaming invaders of the Cold Marshes. Over time, the need for such a grandiose defense has become nullified, and the structure stands mostly as a display of power for Iuz's forces.
