They have known each other sense they were infants, and they became best friends After the years of knowing each other, she told him her feelings and he shared similar emotions. They secretly got married at age seventeen, then they told their families (Which, in hindsight they should have done first.) His parents took it well... well almost, his mother tried to break Ava's arm, but his dad (who gave his full support) stopped his wife from doing something she would regret Connor's sister Heleena however, was happy her little brother was in love with someone he truly deserved to be with Her parents... well... at the time, neither of them approved of this so they gave in to their more destructive sides, her brother put himself in harms way so they could escape the raging dragons, he almost died in order for his sister to have happiness, that is how much he cared. After a few hours, both sides could not find the couple, they asked each other, nothing, they asked the priest who married the two, nothing, no one knew where they went. What Ava did: was get a room at one of the taverns ahead of time, after she told her parents and the (pardon the term) snafu that happened they knew that they could not go there (It was too obvious, and people there knew them and could tell either family where they were so after leaving that false trail, they went to the only place that was safe, a hidden set of caverns that became their hideout, This was their safe place, as it had been for years only one other person knew of this: Priest Riftsin but he was not going to tell So when they were safe, Connor said that he wanted to show her something, something he had practiced. And he polymorphed into a dragon, with black feathered wings, black scales and blue eyes. "Now I can be with you, no matter what form you want to be" he said to her And she shifted form to her draconic one, "That was never a problem for me, but I do approve of this" she responed, strokeing his feathers They made love passionately, in both draconic and humanoid forms after a few days, they came out of hiding and cautiously tried her family first, the encounter was much different: Her brother was in full dragon form, and tightly grasped in his claws were Her parents in elven form. "Now, do you two have anything you need to say to my sister?" Venice said, grip getting tighter "We are sorry, we... well at least I, over-reacted, I am sorry Avanna" Said her father, Vaskin "What about you?" Venice said to his own mother after he released his father "I still don't approve, but I do regret my actions, I could have been more accepting." her reply was "AND?" Venice asked, squeezing tighter, he was not having a repeat of yesterday "I!...am!...sorry!, there! are you happy now?" she asked "Overjoyed" he said sarcasticly, dropping her. Ava walked over and gave each of them (Venice included) a hug "Thank you, all of you." she said as she finished "Now we have to deal with your family" she said to Connor as they left They went to his family's home and knocked on the front door. His father was the one to answer "And how are you two this lovely morning?" he asked "Umm... confused, why are you so relaxed?" Connor said "Because I got both Heyla and Rivarna to agree to something yesterday." His father's reply was "And what was that?" Ava asked "That they would give their consent for you two to be married, If, you do a public ceremony." he replied "But we already slept together, I thought we were fine." Ava said to him Not missing a beat with that news he said:" It is for formality, and to make both mothers feel better about it." "How is Mom?" Connor asked his father "Perfectly fine, although I think she wants to apologize for the attempt at arm snaping." his father replied "Oh, that reminds me, Ava, you can now enter this house any time you want." pulling out a key and handing it to her "Really? are you sure Mr Hemway?" Avanna said taking the offered key "Of cource, if I was not sure I would have spent five hours making these," he holds out two woven rings, each with a inlay of twisted wire "These are beautiful!" said Ava "How did you make these" Connor asked "I wove a single 20 gauge fine silver wire in a orc's head knot one time around, then I inserted the the inlay (which is three strands of 26 gauge of fine silver wire) then I wove it through the same pattern, then I took the first wire and did the last part of the pattern" Cane Hemway explained "Wow, that sounds like a lot of effort" Ava said "Yeah but, you two are worth it" He said So after getting a apology they started to plan the wedding both familes wanted, it was a wonderful event. and four years later Avanna and Connor had five beautiful children,
