Sector 02 - Forge
Forge is one of three star sectors connected through hyperlanes with Cradle sector, with a comfortable distance between it and the border with Outer Colonies. Thus it was deemed as an ideal to place to relocate most of the industrial power from the sectors more vulnerable to enemy attacks, in a truly grandiose example of centrally controlled economy.
In short - very high population, very few planets with clear sky, a lot of heavy industry and mining worlds pretty much everywhere they can be placed. What makes the Forge a little bit more interesting than the rest of Federation industrial sectors is that is located between two sizable Hyperspace Anomalies called Scylla and Charybdis.
