The Home Gem

The Home Gem is the largest gemstone ever discovered by the new country. Gemstones have a high mass density allowing them to be used to efficiently store large amounts of energy. As the largest gemstone that the New Government ( name currently pending ) has access to, it provides a covenient location to store the large amount of energy required to allow the government to retain its autonomy.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Due to the flowing nature of Auxery, the gemstone is manipulated to always have its energy flow in the most optimal way possible. New methods of energy flow are occasionally found, allowing the Home Gem to store energy more efficiently. However, even with an entire government's energy concerns to worry about, the Home Gem's energy limit has yet to be reached. This was a matter the New Government had to discuss when the gemstone was first being implemented. It takes a consequential amount of time to "reconfigure" the gemstone's energy flow. This can caused a lot of problems in the past. When an energy source is being reconfigured it is extremely dangerous to draw energy from it. While it is possible to draw stagnant energy from an object, you risk being unable to handle all of the energy attempting to escape. As such much of the government's systems would fail whenever the Home Gem was being reconfigured. They quickly solved the problem by giving a substantial warning in advance and providing additional energy before and after the gemstone is reconfigured. The Home Gem gets its energy from a variety of souces, but the primary method is from a multitude of glint crystal clusters.

Significance

Serving as the main mode of energy storage for the New Government, It is integeral to the lives of most citizens, as it has allowed the New Government to provide easy, clean energy access to most of the populous. One only needs to contact one of the Home Gem's managers, await approval for an energy link, and then set up the energy link to gain access to this incredible resource.Thanks to the Home Gem, many complicated systems could be simplified, allowing more widespread access to Auxery possible.
