Dietary Needs and Habits

The Red-wing subsist solely on the variety of Pescia availble in Taruns many seas. The birds soar 60 meters above the sea, their keen eyes picking out the shimmer and shine of the pescia. When they spot a target, they dive, reaching speeds of nearly 100 meters per hour as the hit the waves. Current estimates, based on pescia retrived, put the underwater dive distance at 15 meters below the surface.
