Basic Information

Anatomy

Orcs are humanoid, having the same limbs as humans. They are usually larger and bulkier than humans, and have wider shoulders. Their faces and facial features are often more angled and/or squared, and make their faces distinct even without their tusks and green skin colour. The tusks are ivory.

Biological Traits

Revat Orcs

Also known as wood orcs, revat orcs are the most common ancestry of orc. Their hair is black, or sometimes bald. Their skin is more saturated in colour. Revat orcs are more likely to have a knack for animals (animal handling skill), and they are often more communal.
Revat orcs have a reputation for lush woodlands and druids.

Sish Orcs

Also known as sand orcs, sish orcs are a more rare ancestry of orc. Their hair is white, or sometimes bald. Their skin is less saturated in colour. Sish orcs are more likely to have a knack for resource-lacking environments (survival skill), and they are often more self-reliant.
Sish orcs have a reputation for hot deserts and fighters.

Growth Rate & Stages

Orcs reach adulthood at age 16 and live up to 70 years, but most live a decade or two less than that.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Orcs are omnivores. However, they require both plant and meat, and cannot subsist on only plant or only meat.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Despite revat orcs' reputation for woodlands and sish orcs' reputation for deserts, both can commonly be found living comfortably in any human-livable environment. Their reputations for woodlands and deserts are excessive.
Orcs originated in Vuarix, and that is still where most orcs are. Orcs can be found throughout the Lucent Keys and Leytara, consistently rare.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Orcs have darkvision, up to 60 ft. They cannot discern colour in darkness.
