When you have a choice of language, you may choose from any of these following languages.

Standard Languages

These languages are very common in specific regions of Leytara.

These languages are rare in Leytara.

These languages are only known by specific groups. The public may or may not be aware that they exist.

Druidic	Druids	Yes	Used for hidden, hard-to-spot messages as part of the environment, but can also be spoken.
Thieve's Cant	Rogues	Yes	A mix of dialect, jargon, and code that hides messages in seemingly normal conversations. Spoken only.

These aren't languages of communication. They can't be chosen as languages for any D&D character.

Language	Description
The Language of Magic	This is not a language of communication, but a language of function. It gives orders to mana, following eternal and unbreakable world laws. The Language of Magic is written in the form of magic circles, and it is the way in which arcane, divine, and primal magic is cast.
