Magic Circles

All known magic can be measured in circles, ranging from 0 to 9. This measurement is based upon the Language of Magic.   Magic can be written in a communicative form, using any language such as Common. But functional magic is written in the Language of Magic, and that language is written in the form of circles. These circles have various marks through and between them. These marks, using the circles as a baseline, instruct mana on what to do, following unbreakable world laws.   The level of a spell directly indicates how many individual circles a magic circle has. For example, if your spell is level 5, then its circle will be made up of 5 circles, plus the marks through and between. The only exception to this are cantrips, which are sometimes called 0-circle spells. Cantrips are dots, with marks sprouting from the dot.
