gi'Waad Ycano (gi'Wahd Y-Sahn-OH)

gi'Waad Ycano or Waad's Tears in Lehkcia, was the small ring system that surrounded the planet Lexicon. The planetary ring system gained its name after a old myth of theirs, and only Lexiconians call the ring system that encircles their planet gi'Waad Ycano, with non-Lexiconians and denizens of the galaxy simply just calling it Lexicon's Rings or The Rings of Lexicon.

Description

gi'Waad Ycano is quite small, consisting only of two thin and narrow rings, with widths of about 100 km or less. gi'Waad Ycano is dark in color and composed of rock and dust. gi'Waad Ycano has no ice and has a rather low albedo. That is, material that doesn't reflect too much light.   The material in gi'Waad Ycano are not densely packed and are rather spread out, and gi'Waad Ycano is thin and porous, only having a density of 20% - 25%, thus gi'Waad Ycano does not block a lot of light.   gi'Waad Ycano is surprisingly and remarkably stable despite the chunkier and rockier material. The particles range in size from specks smaller than household dust to boulders the size of cars. Debris from gi'Waad Ycano falling is in fact rare as it usually burns up in the thick and dense atmosphere.   Lexicon also has a small pockmarked moon, Worda, that orbits the planet that is nestled and located on the outer edge of the second ring, thus acting as a shepherd moon.

Formation

Lexicon is the only rocky planet in the system and gi'Waad Ycano formed from leftover material from the formation of the planet itself. Essentially, gi'Waad Ycano formed from material of the protoplanetary disk that was within the Roche limit of the planet and thus could not coalesce to form moons.
