Nobody in the Republic is quite as anonymous as the Umbral Observer of the Magelords, Lord Lothric Citede. His very name and title command awe and fear, whispered legends of the withdrawn tiefling echoing across the Republic.
Lord Lothric is a mysterious and dangerous individual. He keeps all of his allies, even his fellow Magelords, at an arm's length, allowing nobody to get too close to him. Beyond mandatory public appearances, Lord Citede remains absent from nearly all gatherings and events, almost never seen in public. Similarly, he does not keep staff, only a trusted network of agents, his secretive and enigmatic Sentinels, as well as a few personal guard.

As Umbral Observer, Lord Lothric is tasked with the clandestine gathering of information, as well as the dispatch of field agents to operate in secret, such as spies and investigators. Rumors and legends cite him as having humble beginnings as a mercenary, though tall tales of his exploits hail him as a swift and deadly assassin.
