Lady Sybelle Merren

Lady Sybelle Merren is quite the unique woman, by Magelord standards. It is already quite rare for a Magelord to not be native to Argo, but Lady Sybelle is also the first Owlin in the history of the republic to ascend to the Magelords' council. Having been born and raised in the vast forests and mountains of Obraria, Lady Sybelle and her family travelled to Argo when she was young, after her prodigious magical gifts promised them a life of success. She went on to study her own sorcery for years, rising the ranks as a visionary of magic. Lady Sybelle was, in particular, a master of teleportation magic, and became a valuable scholar in the Eveleus Institute's Conjurative Division.
As Sage of Progress, Lady Sybelle created many of the Translocation Terminals across the Republic, as well as elevated the systems of commerce and communication to allow storage and movement of goods and currency within conjured demiplanes, though the practice is generally expensive and reserved for the upper class. Over the years she has taken in a number of students and apprentices, such as Yrel Boucharde, the owner of The Antiquary's Nook.
