Celeury

Celeury is a metallic element colloquially referred to as moldy quicksilver due to its greenish-silver hue and its natural state as a liquid at room temperature. It is largely unreactive in the presence of other physical compounds, but its liquid nature gives it unique properties in applications using Power of Geonature. Celeury gets its name from its so far unexplained ability to encourage growth of excessively large stalks of celery which can often be found growing in soil above celeury deposits.    While not inherently toxic, excessive exposure to celeury can be dangerous. In the body, celeury gathers in synovial joints such as the elbow and vertebrae and reduces range of motion until the joint remains extended and is unable to be bent. Removal of celeury from the body is possible, but is a dangerous process that must be overseen by a doctor and a specially trained aggregant. The aggregant may be able to draw celeury from the joint which can then be removed via a specialized needle, but the process may cause internal damage if not done delicately. There is also the risk that the aggregant may unintentionally affect other metals and minerals in the body in untold ways.   Due to its properties and potential health dangers, celeury is often used by aggregants as a way to protect objects from theft and potentially damaging environmental conditions. An object stored in celeury remains unaffected by the liquid metal due to its unreactive nature and can only be safely removed by an aggregant who is able to repel the celeury from entering their own body. When transporting an object of high value across long distances, it's common practice to store the celeury in a barrel and mix in it with other barrels full of water, spirits, or other liquids so as to confuse thieves.
