The Northern Peaks
Geography
Resting at the top of the known world, the two volcanoes of the northern peaks are commonly active with the lava running down in channels created by the natives of the Island thousands of years ago to redirect the lava flows away from the villages. The central volcanoes are surrounded to the north by 13 smaller islands seven of which seem to form the word fire in the god's tongue which can be seen from high up on the peaks themselves. The entire island is surrounded by beaches that also form three relatively small sandy deserts
