The Base of the Peaks

Purpose / Function

The Temple was created by the natives on the island of the Northern peaks to worship the two fire gods who gave the gift of the Brandwood trees to the island. The temple also channels the power of the fiery core of the volcanoes into the the fire magic used by magicians and sorcerers trained near its walls. The great amount of power channelling through the building is also used by worshipers to commune with the gods although some are more successful than others

History

after the appearance of the Brandwood trees Enilla Brand-voice received a vision from the fire gods Hepfra and Nriefan showing her the reason for the trees appearing, she then spread the word to the rest of the island inhabitants who banded together and constructed the temple over three generations to give thanks for the new and wondrous material they had been gifted, the construction was overseen by the Great grandfather of Mordan the Quiet who lived throughout the entire construction and as a wizard himself made sure that every stone was set to channel the power of the fire into the magic now used by any magicians and sorcerers trained on the island
