The Library of Eodor

Purpose / Function

This, at first, intended to be a public library and was in fact one of the first public buildings of the city of Eodor, and grew with the city. It was then rendered private after it's aquisition by an anonymous buyer in 1382.

Alterations

There were two main part of the building process: the first Library and it's undergroud were built from 310 to around 451, then there was a floor added as well as an expantion of the underground from 678 to 703. From 784 there were renovations made to the roof, which led to an expantion of the main body in order for the new roof to hold up which lasted until 850 due to shortages as well as the death of many architects and one accident that killed most of the workers. The last addition/ modification was between 997 tp 1010, expanding the underground and adding an adjacent building that used to contain the first Academy of Eodor before it expended.
