The Beast's Lullaby

Beast, beast, beast of the woods
Please creature, be mercifull
I am naught but my mother's child
I promise I'll never wander your forest at night

Beast, beast, beast of the land
Please creature, understand
I am naught but a playful being
I promise I'll give back what i ate

Beast, beast, beast of another world
Please creature, tell me more
I will listen to your complaint
I promise I'll never repeat it again

Bless the harvest, bless the children
Protect us in your forest
Bless the sweet(est), bless the hens (livestock)
May your voice be the loudest.

This is the translated vertion of a poem/lullaby, from anciant Gaisgain to modern Vrain, that is part of a receuil of texts mentionning the Lirio Beast and it's related legends, which can be found int the great library of Eodor, Gaisaich:
