Human
The prevalent sentient life form found on Legere. Of the four sapient organisms, humans are the most common. Humans of different variants are also found across various other dimensions and share major characteristics with Angels in terms of appearance.
Unique to Legerian humans is an additional growth at the base of the brain. A special gland and associated nerve structure that links to the lizard brain exists there that allows humans to manipulate a variety of subatomic molecules(archons) using thoughts. The presence or lack thereof of this brain structure is not the engine behind a human's capability to utilize magic. Rather, it is the production of magically-active enzymes and proteins within that allow for such powers. As such, some humans may be genetically predisposed for magic use, while others will struggle more or are even "magically sterile". Humans can also be neutered of their magical powers through surgical removal of or traumatic damage to this brain structure.
