Journal

Appears to span across a few months, it is largely made up of different arcane observations where Meyil has reminded himself about components, recipes, odd quirks, and the such. You notice a recurring spell which he appeared to be slowly adapting, it seems very similar to a Locate Creature spell.   Under what appears to be the last iteration of the spell, you see a note which reads "This is the closest I've been, I sensed him on another plane, a dark plane, but I felt him, and he's alive."   Closer to the final pages of the journal you find notes that read as follows:
"I feel him getting closer, to this plane. I'm concerned, I have a terrible feeling in my gut. His presence that I sense, it feels dark. Darker than I thought my brother could be."
"I received a vision, something I'm not sure has occurred before. I saw a lava spewing from a cavern in the side of a mountain. I think I recognised it from our journeys in the southern regions. It felt like it was calling me. I shall set travel tonight, once the court has adjourned."
