Undryx

Located in the southwest of the Midlands. Undryx, called the “Mountain City”, was built into the Dar Mountain by the Dar and was once their capital. As the Dar were massacred inside their mountain kingdom their blood infused itself into the stone, creating pockets of bloodstone throughout the mountain. Bloodstone severely weakens the power of the spheres, making much of Dar Mountain, and Undryx within, invulnerable to magical attacks. Undryx was the last High City to join the Republic. Many of the citizens desired to remain a sovereign kingdom under their king Kirk Edgehelm. Edgehelm himself was the deciding factor that Undryx would join the Grand Republic. Undryx is the center of massive mining operations in the Dar Mountain and it’s surrounding mountains. These mountains hold the largest known mines of Silver and Iron in Layeil, as well as the only source of Bloodstone. Undryx also holds the largest settlement of the Therian species of Grok.
