Murakami Islands

Located in the far east off the mainland of the Midlands. The Murakami Isles has been settled by the Narasign, namely Okai Naramasa, a member of the “Eight”. After the “War of the Fallen King” Naomasa established Naomasa castle, on the northern-most isle. Smaller keeps exist on the mainland, called Oni’s Fang Keep, on the western-most isle, called Tengu Steel Keep, and southern-most isle, called Kappa Springs Keep. Naomasa accomplished this goal by uniting the Narasign clans and pushing back the Legions of the Deep, although on-going war with the Legions would remain. While under Naomasa’s rule the extremely young nation managed to prosper. Unfortunately, after the death of Naomasa bitter rivalries and multiple claims for the throne splintered the already warring clans. This prevented further expansion and allowed the Legions to reclaim some of their earthen territory. The clans remain locked in conflict with each other and the Legions.
